Teammates Solution:
Teknion Altos wall system used to provide functional spaces for cadets in flight training. All offices, Mass briefing room and simulator room were uniquely designed within the interior of the building to increase operational efficiency while providing office space convenient to the flying training mission at the Midfield Facility. Teammates diligently worked with JBI construction to accommodate the varying ceiling heights where the ceiling grid was placed against our wall system for support. This allowed our design team to creatively problem solve and install the frames without a grid system and allowing seismic bracing every 8’ creating support spaces necessary to conduct successful operation in this facility.
