Client Profile:

Nelnet, Inc., is a service company specializing in consumer finance, telecommunications, and K-12 and higher education. Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, with offices around the globe, Nelnet has 6,500+ associates that work together to serve their communities and make their customer’s dreams possible.

Deliverables:

A client since 2002, this 60,000+ square foot renovation includes reception, 234 workstations, 2 private offices, 45 huddle/conference/training rooms, 1 large breakroom with adjoining patio, multiple phone rooms, mothers’ rooms, and open collaborative spaces. Nelnet was also able to reuse an additional 63 stations from their Aurora location for their future flex space.

Teammates Solution:

With the need for flexibility within this large call center, ESI mobile height adjustable tables were utilized in conjunction with MDC flexible felt surround screens to allow for both privacy and acoustic properties. Tables can be easily repositioned with all electrics being dropped from the ceiling for a simple plug and play application. With a large focus on collaborative spaces, a mix of Teknion, Sit On It, National, JSI, and Stylex were placed throughout the buildout to allow for casual meetings and easy breakaway from the heads down desk environment. From the playful palate to the large breakroom and adjoining outdoor patio outfitted in LOLL and Lanscape Forms, there are plenty of places for employees to feel energized and refreshed.
