Teammates Commercial Interiors was founded in 1995 by Mike Berkery (President) and Bob Neuman (Executive Vice President), two friends with extensive experience in the commercial furniture industry. The name "Teammates" reflects their philosophy of being an advocate for their customers, a company that truly becomes part of the in-house team. The Teammate's approach is to consult with their customers and make objective recommendations based on needs, budget and company culture. This philosophy has resulted in a company culture that's incredibly focused on providing customers with remarkable customer experiences; and has created many long-standing customer relationships, as Teammates meets the changing needs of thousands of businesses nation-wide.
From the company’s modest beginnings in a one-room office in 1995, Teammates has grown and is recognized as one of the leading commercial furniture dealers in Colorado and across the West and Midwest; and also was featured on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing private companies in the United States in 2001. In 2006, Teammates relocated to a new facility at Belmar in Lakewood, Colorado with a complete showroom and library available to companies interested in learning more about designing workspaces that contribute to company culture and productivity.
